Job Description - Interim AP Manager

HW Finance are working with a manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Huddersfield to recruit an interim AP Manager on a 6 month basis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Review and defining the P2P processes
  • Strengthen the compliance to internal controls
  • Work with procurement to challenge suppliers on payment terms and the volume of suppliers on the ledger
  • Create a team within PL through daily team calls and regular catch ups
  • Develop and maintain KPIs to highlight compliance to the P2P process
  • Work with the business on the P2P ( procure to pay) process to improve the speed of query resolution Improve month end closing process to complete sooner
  • Reduce the volume of one off manual payments being requested

The business have recently implemented Dynamics365, so experience in using it is essential for this role.
