Interim Business Continuity Lead

Distinct is supporting a Leicestershire business to recruit an interim Business Continuity Specialist for a three-month contract.

This is a pivotal role supporting the enhancement and delivery of their business continuity and crisis management framework during a key period of transition and risk review.

Location: Leicestershire (hybrid offered)

You can:

• Lead the review, update, and implementation of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across key departments
• Produce relevant documentation
• Support the coordination of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments
• Partner with stakeholders across IT, Operations, HR, and Risk to embed business continuity awareness
• Assist with the planning and delivery of crisis management exercises and scenario testing
• Partner with senior stakeholders across IT, Operations, HR, and Risk to embed business continuity awareness
• Contribute to the development of incident response protocols and communication plans
• Develop policies and strategies

Background:

• Proven experience in Business Continuity Management, ideally within a mid-to-large organisation
• Strong knowledge of BCP lifecycle, including BIAs, risk mitigation, and resilience strategies.
• Ability to quickly integrate into teams and deliver value at pace.
• Available to start a contract at short notice
