Interim Category Manager

We're looking for an experienced Interim Category Manager to lead the re-procurement of key fleet contracts, combining strong project management with public sector procurement expertise. This hybrid role requires collaboration across departments to deliver strategic fleet initiatives on time and within compliance.

Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of re-procuring key fleet-related contracts.
• Develop detailed specifications and create all necessary procurement documentation.
• Engage and liaise with stakeholders across Fleet Services, Commercial Services, and Contract Management.
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure on-schedule, compliant project delivery.
• Provide regular updates and report progress to the Programme Management Team within Fleet Services.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

• Demonstrable experience in public sector procurement.
• Strong project or programme management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Background in fleet services or related categories.

Job Offer
