The Company

Our client is committed to working with Government to achieve clean power by 2030 and to support this they are seeking to recruit an interim Enterprise Risk Business Partner.

The Role

You will support the business to ensure the maintenance of a robust risk framework within 2nd line of defence. You will support the risk plan and evaluation, building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and liaising with senior management at Board level to highlight any areas of risk and recommend mitigating action. You will be responsible for leading continuous improvement of the risk management strategy and framework.

The Person

You will be a commercially minded individual with the ability to relate risk management to the needs of the business. You will have strong interpersonal skills and significant exposure to senior stakeholders with the ability to influence and relate with people at Board level. You will thrive in a fast-paced, changing and challenging business and have a proven track record as a driver of change within a complex environment. Ideally IRM qualified, experience working in the public sector and/or energy would also be a distinct advantage for this role.
