Job Description - Interim Events & Conference Manager

Are you an expert at Events Management (both large corporate and online events)? Do you have experience working for an international professional services company? Then we are looking for you!! We are working with one of our favourite clients who are looking for a senior Events Manager to run their EMEA events in person and online. The role is exciting and fast-paced and they are one of the top professional services firms in the UK!

Job Title: Interim Events & Conference Manager

Contract Type: Interim role until December 2025, potentially to be extended slightly longer

Salary: perm salary equivalent of circa £75,000 but you will be paid on a day rate

Role Responsibilities:

  • This pivotal role within the Marketing & Business Development Department focuses on planning, managing, and executing events across the EMEA region. You'll be responsible for:
  • Leading sponsorship management to align with strategic goals
  • Collaborating with partners to define event objectives and messaging
  • Coordinating logistics to ensure seamless operations
  • Managing a Senior Events and Conferences Specialist for high-quality delivery
  • Overseeing the EMEA events calendar for optimal scheduling
  • Evaluating event performance through defined ROI metrics
  • Travel up to 15% to manage on-site events
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external clients and vendors
  • Support special projects within the broader Marketing & Business Development team
  • Your proactive and resourceful approach will shine as you work closely with stakeholders to ensure that every event is a resounding success! ?

What You'll Bring:

  • A qualification in marketing, business, event management, or related field or equivalent
  • Strong experience in an events role, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills
  • A client service-oriented mindset, ready to tackle challenges with a smile ??
  • Proficiency with event management tools like Cvent, On24, AND Marketo
