Interim Finance Business Partner

My Birmingham based client is looking for an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support for a key transformation project. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with senior leaders to shape how the business operates across multiple sites.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Partner with the Transformation Director to support a large-scale transformation project.
• Help assess how sites are run and laid out, including major investments into improvements.
• Provide financial input and analysis and the roll out of new operational models.
• Work on identifying the best sites for refurbishment and measure their performance against expectations.
• Build and review business cases to support investment decisions and highlight risks or missed opportunities.
• Carry out post-project evaluations, using both financial data and non-financial indicators.
• Develop and improve financial tools and models in Excel to support business decisions.

What We're Looking For:

• Solid experience in multi-site operations, ideally in a consumer-focused business.
• Previous involvement in store openings or site rollout programmes is essential.
• Strong understanding of how to evaluate transformation projects and identify areas for improvement.
• Skilled at building and using Excel models to support decision-making.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and turning them into practical insights.
• Commercially minded and able to influence decision-makers with clear, data-driven recommendations.
• A confident communicator who can work well across different teams and departments.
