Interim Finance Business Partner

Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-backed Logistics & Infrastructure Group to appoint an Interim Finance Business Partner to support external stakeholders including shareholders, lenders, auditors, and advisors. This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone with strong reporting and stakeholder management skills. Offered on an interim basis, the role pays a competitive day rate and requires 3 days per week onsite in Central London.

The Company
Operating across multiple European markets, this PE-backed group provides critical logistics and infrastructure services to millions of users. With over £2bn in revenue, the business is highly visible and active in refinancing, reporting, and ongoing strategic change. Finance operates at pace and with significant external interface.

The Role
This is a mixed technical and commercial finance role, acting as the key liaison to the group's external stakeholders. Supporting shareholders, lenders, consultants, and auditors, the role requires a blend of reporting accuracy, financial analysis, and stakeholder management. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing board, investor, and lender reporting packs
• Coordinating responses for advisors, auditors, and banks
• Delivering financial insight to support refinancing and investment cases
• Supporting covenant monitoring and external-facing MI
• Working with central finance, treasury, and strategy functions

This is a high-visibility role requiring clear communication, responsiveness, and a confident approach to external engagement.

Your Profile

• A qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / CA or equivalent)
• Strong experience across both FP&A and financial reporting
• Confident preparing reports and commentary for external use
• Proactive and comfortable operating under tight deadlines
• Experience working in complex or PE-backed environments is beneficial
