Interim Finance Data Analyst

I'm currently on the look-out for a commercial focussed Interim Finance Data Analyst to join a private equity backed business based in Cannock to help during a journey of strong business growth.

They are looking for an experienced Finance Data Analyst to join forces with the IT Director & finance function to provide accurate analysis, develop a database model for business reporting, deliver on historic data reconciliations and manage key relationships.

Your impact will lead to improvement in transparent reporting, help drive effective decision making, ensure course correction and help maximise the commercial return.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to the business, providing financial / non-finance support and guidance to key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with non-finance staff, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.
• Understand the business operations and needs for reporting.
• Work on adhoc request from colleagues in context of data reporting.

Key requirements:

• Deep understanding of financial and operational information.
• Advanced analytical skills including advanced Excel modelling skills.
• Able to work under pressure during busy periods of change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
