Interim Finance Director

The Hays senior finance team are looking for a qualified interim senior finance director for an opportunity in the Bath area:

• 27 mill T/O international manufacturing business
• 120 employees
• Reporting to the CEO - you will have full oversight over a finance team of 5.
• Preference for the client is someone who is happy to work on site every day
• Covering initially an interim period while the business secure a permanent FD (option for this to be a temp to perm)

Main responsibilities:

• Line management of the accounts team covering all aspects of financial/treasury processes and rigorous control.
• Ensure that the business has accurate and ever-improving systems, processes and controls for cash flow and financial forecasting and reporting processes and is maximising value from both its operations and its balance sheet.
• Ownership of the standard costing and estimating models and standard cost maintenance / reporting
• Management of forecasts / budgets, fixed cost management, production and waste reporting
• Providing financial support/input to the senior team and commercial activities
• Control of stock / working capital and the capital expenditure process

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience of using SAP or similar systems
• Skilled in the use of Excel and other MS Office modules
• Ability to work efficiently and to challenging deadlines
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
