I have an immediate requirement for a candidate to join a fast growth, multi-site business based In South Birmingham. The company is scaling rapidly and embarking on a significant change and integration agenda following recent acquisitions. This role offers a high-impact leadership position within a business that values agility, ambition, and excellence.

As Interim Finance Director, you will take full ownership of the finance function, leading across controllership, commercial finance, acquisition accounting, integration, and change management. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role requiring strategic insight and operational execution across a complex, evolving business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team leadership.
• Lead and oversee the full controllership function across the business.
• Drive commercial finance activity, providing strategic insight and challenge.
• Manage acquisition accounting and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
• Support and lead broader change initiatives in line with the company's growth strategy.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure sound financial decision-making across the group.
• Maintain strong financial controls, reporting standards, and compliance.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
• Significant experience of a multi-site environment is essential.
• Proven ability to lead in high-growth and change-intensive contexts.
• Strong commercial acumen, alongside robust technical finance expertise.
• A natural self-starter with a calm, assured leadership style.
• Highly organised, focused, and able to manage competing demands with clarity and confidence.
