Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Day Rate: Up to £700 per day
Duration: 3 - 6 Months
I am currently partnering with a growing and dynamic organisation based in the heart of Manchester to recruit an Interim Finance Director. This is a pivotal role for an experienced finance leader with a strong technical background, who can bring strategic insight and hands-on support to a business going through a period of rapid growth and transformation.

• 
  Lead the finance function, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, controls, and compliance.
• 
  Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory reporting, and board packs.
• 
  Provide strategic financial insight to the executive team and support key business decisions.
• 
  Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
• 
  Liaise with external auditors, banks, and advisors to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• 
  Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
• 
  Ensure the business remains compliant with all financial and regulatory requirements.
• 
  Mentor and support the internal finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.

• 
  ACA or ACCA qualified, ideally trained within a top-tier audit firm.
• 
  Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a senior finance leadership position.
• 
  Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience managing audits.
• 
  Demonstrated success working in high-growth or change-focused environments.
• 
  Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
• 
  Available to start within 1-2 weeks.

  Up to £700 per day, dependent on experience.
• 
  Hybrid working - typically 2-3 days per week in the Manchester office.
