Description

The Interim Senior management Accountant/Finance Manager is a key role in the success and development of the finance team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for;

• Management and development of the Accounts Receivable department. You will be tasked to implement and or improve controls, processes and systems to enable strong cashflow in the business.
• Develop a robust suite of Management Accounts with detailed reports showing all variances to budgets and actuals v forecasts.
• Assist the FC with the production of the Statutory Accounts
• All balance sheet reconciliations
• Vat and other statutory returns
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Develop a suite of reports for both internal use and for external customers
• Work with the FC and the Bids and tenders team to to develop more precise bids and tenders information
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial and business goals
• Prepare financial forecasts and budgets
• Conduct risk management activities

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• A Professional Finance Qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA
• Excellent Management Accounting skills including budgeting, forecasting and developing reports
• Good financial modelling skills
• Proficiency in financial management software
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
