Interim Finance Manager

Robertson Bell are proud to be partnering with a tight-knit organisation based in Leicester as they recruit for an interim Finance Manager on a three-month contract, with the potential to turn permanent. You’ll be overseeing core finance activities while managing and developing one direct report. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created team with the scope to grow and innovate.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the month-end close and preparing insightful management accounts.
• Overseeing key finance functions including payroll, purchase and sales ledger, and budget reporting.
• Performing and reviewing detailed reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.
• Supporting strategic decision-making with timely and accurate financial insight.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a proactive and confident finance professional with strong attention to detail.
• Have proven experience in month-end reporting, reconciliations, and management accounting.
• Be a natural leader, comfortable managing one direct report and collaborating across teams.
• Be fully committed to onsite working – this role requires presence in the Leicester office five days a week.
