Interim Finance Manager

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director and managing a small, yet experienced team, duties will include:

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including preparing monthly accrual and prepayment schedules, balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasting, liaising with budget holders as necessary
• Develop, monitor, and manage the annual budget in collaboration with budget holders
• Manage the charity's cash flow, ensuring that there are sufficient funds to meet operational needs
• Monitor bank accounts, ensure payments are processed on time, and manage financial risks

What you'll need to succeed

• Accountant with previous team leadership and strong month-end experience
• Available to start immediately, or at short notice

What you'll get in return

• Initial 3-month + interim contract with the potential for an extension or to go permanent.
