Interim Finance Manager - IFRS 9 needed

Global Accounting Network are partnering with an international energy client who are looking for an interim Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract.

As the interim Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for the monthly management reporting for the UK, group reporting for the parent company and the annual statutory reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly accounting for trading P&L, primarily financial instruments, partnering with the Technical Accounting team
• Own the P&L and Balance sheet reporting for month-end close
• Coordinate quarterly group reporting schedules
• Prepare annual statutory accounts and coordinate external audit engagement
• Drive improvements to financial reporting processes and controls
• Ad hoc tasks & analysis

Ideal Candidate:

• Fully Qualified Accountant
• MUST have prior IFRS 9 reporting experience
• Strong month end and year end experience
• Brilliant excel skills and ability to manipulate large datasets
• Workday & Alteryx knowledge would be advantageous
