Interim Finance Officer

The Interim Finance Officer role is within a small friendly branch of a large Public Sector organisation in Huddersfield. We are seeking an individual with a wealth of transactional experience, specifically within accounts payable. Those who match this specification and have Public Sector experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Description

• Manage day-to-day financial operations within the budget
• Prepare financial reports and statements
• Maintain and update financial records
• Assist in the creation and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to streamline financial operations
• Offer financial guidance to management and stakeholders when required
• Liaise with external auditors during financial audits

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Officer should have:

• Strong transactional skills
• Competency with bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in software and spreadsheet programs
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
