Job Description - Interim Finance Systems Analyst

?? Interim Finance Systems Analyst – 3-Month Contract | £60k–£65k Equivalent | Newark (5 Days Onsite)

Are you a finance professional who thrives on working with complex data? This is a great opportunity to join a growing, design-led business in the midst of a systems transformation — and they need someone with the right blend of accountancy know-how and data confidence to support it.

This interim role is ideal for someone with a solid finance background and experience navigating large data sets, who’s comfortable working between systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Reconciling large volumes of financial data between an ERP platform and Sage 50
Allocating costs to the correct projects and compiling accurate WIP reports
Cleaning and structuring data to support audit and financial reporting
Supporting the integration of finance into an existing ERP system
Acting as a key liaison between finance, operations, and IT

What We’re Looking For:

Finance or accountancy background (qualified, part-qualified, or QBE)
Proven experience working with large and complex data sets
Strong reconciliation and audit preparation skills
Systems experience (ERP or finance transformation projects preferred)
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data ownership
Advanced Excel skills
Immediately available or on short notice
Able to be on-site in Newark, 5 days a week

The Detail:

Contract: 3 months initially
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire (on-site only)
Rate: Equivalent to £60k–£65k per annum
Start: ASAP
