Interim Financial Accountant opportunity to join a large innovative Public Sector organisation for a six month interim assignment. The post holder will to support the Senior Finance Leadership team to deliver over a busy accounting period.

As the Interim Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Senior FBP team to ensure that the organisation delivers:

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant will include:

• To support the FBP with the Annual Financial Statements.
• To support the FBP with the external audit of Annual Financial Statements.
• To assist with the timely and accurate processing of Balance Sheet reconciliations for Projects, during the year and at year-end, as required.
• To support the FBP in the resolution of all performance audit queries raised by External Auditors and to assist in the implementation of any recommendations resulting from such audits.
• To support the FBP with the maintaining of the accounting system.

Essential experience of the Financial Accountant

• Qualified Accountant of equivalent
• Recent Public Sector experience
• Immediately available
