Interim Financial Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a fast-paced UK-headquartered group in Manchester City Centre who are looking to appoint an Interim Financial Accountant / Audit Accountant on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA-qualified accountant to step into a high-impact, technical role at a group level.

* £250 - £400 per day (inside IR35)
* 6-month contract, with the potential to extend or convert to permanent
* Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the Manchester office

* Support the preparation of statutory accounts for multiple UK trading entities under IFRS
* Assist with the Group Consolidation process and support the monthly and year-end close
* Liaise with external auditors to manage queries, audit schedules and supporting documentation
* Assist in identifying and remediating control weaknesses, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Help implement consistent Group-wide accounting policies

Group Finance Director

Immediately - quick turnaround for the right candidate

* ACA qualified accountant, ideally trained in a Big 4 or Top 10 firm
* Strong technical understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
* Audit or financial reporting experience with large or complex businesses
* Excellent attention to detail and confident handling of technical accounting matters
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
