Job Description - Interim Financial Accountant

Axon Moore are supporting a large manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Financial Accountant.

This is a hands on and varied Financial Accounting role where you will play a you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller across a range of responsibilities.

The key responsibilities for this person will include:
  • Production of accounts for one of the manufacturing divisions
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Month end accounts
  • Journals
  • Prepare and post prepayments and accruals
  • Supporting with statutory accounts

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience)
  • Previous experience of working for a manufacturing organisation
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines

This is a 3-6 month temporary position initially and offers 1 day a week working from home.
