Interim Financial Accountant (3-4 months)

Our client in the Stafford area has closed their year-end on 30th June and would love some support from a Qualified Financial Accountant for a period of 3-4 months. The role could be 4 or 5 days per week, ideally on site due to the need to use specific software, but dial-in options can be arranged to allow for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting notes for multiple entities (21 VAT registered companies) in accordance with FRS 102
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Use Accounts Production and Corporation Tax software modules to compile and review financial statements and tax computations
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors via Inflo to support the year-end process
• Assist with ad hoc financial reporting, reconciliations and analysis as required

Essential Requirements
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in preparing statutory accounts under FRS 102
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Able to use Accounts Production and Corporation Tax software modules
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines
• Strong communication and organisational skills
