Interim Financial Accountant

This is an interim position for up to 3 months and will be year end support in a busy audit period

Client Details

My client are a major and well known business in the Bristol area that require an additional head to help them through their financial year end

Description

The key responsibilities:

• Preparing and assisting with the completion of year-end statutory accounts.
• Full accounts preparation - there are multiple difference notes in the accounts, of which some are complex
• Working with the external auditors and providing supporting documentation for interim and year-end audits.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Maintaining and developing internal financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Pensions/derivatives notes

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

• A full and recognised acccountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• A strong technical understanding
• Significant experience of working in similar year end focused positions
• Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously

Job Offer

This is a day rate position inside IR35 and the rate on offer is highly competitive depending on experience. This is a hybrid working position with 3 days a week required on-site in Bristol
