Interim Financial Accountant

Our client is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support their finance team during a busy year-end period. This role is perfect for a technically strong accountant who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly reputable organisation known for its innovation and commercial growth. Operating across multiple entities, they are seeking interim support to ensure a smooth and accurate year-end close and group reporting process.

The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial reporting and technical accounting activities during year-end, including the preparation of consolidated accounts and liaising with external auditors.

Main Duties

• Assist with year-end close processes and financial statement preparation
• Support group consolidations and intercompany eliminations
• Provide technical accounting guidance (IFRS/UK GAAP) as needed
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion

The Successful Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong experience in year-end financial reporting and/or consolidations
• Technical knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP
• Available on short notice or immediately
