My client is a well known Public Sector entity operating across the Uk with a large presence in Cardiff.

Description

My Public Sector client requires a Financial Accountant with IFRS16 leasing experience for a 5 month temporary contract

• Provide technical expertise on IFRS 16 leasing and related costs.
• Assess contracts for lease requirements.
• Manage lease contracts and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant - Leasing should have:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience with IFRS 16 accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Ability to communicate complex data effectively to non-finance stakeholders
• Experience with SAP is beneficial but not essential.

Job Offer

• Daily rate of approximately £243 to £297, depending on experience.
