Contract Type: Interim (3-6 months, potential for extension)

Day Rate: £600-£700 pd

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join an organisation navigating a challenging transformation environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a pivotal part in enhancing financial processes, improving management accounts production, and delivering actionable management information to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and streamline the production of accurate and timely management accounts.

Develop robust management information (MI) frameworks to provide insights and support business performance monitoring.

Enhance existing financial processes, systems, and controls to meet the demands of a complex transformation.

Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance and support during the change process.

Deliver high-quality reporting and analysis, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Mentor and develop the finance team to drive efficiency and capability improvements.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a fast-paced, transformation-heavy environment.

Strong expertise in producing and enhancing management accounts and MI.

Ability to identify and implement process improvements under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Advanced Excel and strong financial systems knowledge

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
