Interim Financial Controller - Nottingham

Our client is looking for an Interim FC to join their team in Nottingham. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day financial operations and managing a team. You will have well rounded experience and enjoy managing a team. This is a commercial role and you will work closely with the senior leadership team bringing clarity, rigour, and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the finance team including producing the management accounts, financial reporting and transactional finance.

Bring monthly management accounts fully up to date and ensure ongoing reporting is timely and accurate.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Provide business partnering support to various teams, helping them understand financial performance and drive better decision-making.

Collaborate with leadership on strategic realignment of the finance function.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Accountant with broad experience overseeing a finance team

Commercially minded and a self-starter

Financial reporting experience and the ability to bring clarity to complex financial data

A retail background would be preferred, but not essential

Experience working in a multi-entity environment is beneficial

A people person with strong business partnering skills – you’ll work closely with teams across the business and must be confident building relationships and influencing.

A highly organised, detail-driven individual who thrives in an evolving, fast-moving environment.
