Interim Financial Controller – Leicestershire – £70,000 to £90,000 / Day Rate Considered – 6-Month Contract

Are you a hands-on Financial Controller who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves sorting out financial chaos? We’re looking for a confident interim to step into a key role within a growing Leicestershire-based business that’s currently undergoing a finance transformation.

This is no ivory-tower, sit-back-and-strategise kind of role – we need someone who can roll up their sleeves, manage a team, and get stuck into the day-to-day while also identifying and implementing process improvements. You’ll be reporting directly to an FD who’ll give you the autonomy and backing to make a real impact.

This is a business in transition – systems, processes, reporting – it all needs tightening up, and that’s where you come in. You’ll need to bring experience, a steady hand, and the ability to calmly juggle whatever gets thrown your way. If you enjoy fixing things, leading people, and being the go-to person for getting stuff done, this will suit you down to the ground.

The key bits:

• 6-month contract with likely extension

• £70,000 to £90,000 salary range (flexible for the right person)

• Day rate also considered

• Office-based in Leicestershire with some flexibility

• Reporting into the Finance Director

• Managing a team of 5-6

• Leading on systems and process improvements
