Job Description - Interim Financial Controller / FD

Immediate start - This 6 month contract will be office based in Norwich.

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller/ FD to join our team during a critical period of business transition and growth. This hands-on role is key to ensuring financial stability and clarity across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Proactively manage cash flow, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting to ensure business continuity and financial health.
Provide strategic support to the Senior Management Team (SMT) on financial matters, including evaluating contracts, business cases, and investment decisions.
Act as a key financial partner across the business, offering insights and challenge to support sound commercial decision-making.
Ensure robust financial controls and processes are maintained during the interim period.

About You:

Qualified accountant with proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
Strong track record of managing cash flow and producing timely, actionable financial reports.
Commercially astute with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Able to hit the ground running, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
