Interim Financial Controller / Finance Manager

As Interim Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing the preparation of the accounts on a monthly basis, as well as looking at ways to improve current processes and add commercial value from a finance perspective to the operational side of the business. This is a temporary role for 3-6 months initially, with the chance of permanent for the right candidate.

Description

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the management accounts
• Processing of expenses and invoices
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing a small team of 2
• Spotting opportunities to improve current financial controls and processes and implementing improvements

This is a temporary role for 3-6 months and is based on-site 5 days per week.

My client would also consider taking someone on a part-time basis of 3-4 days per week - all working days would need to be on-site.

Profile

• Qualified / Qualified by Experience
• Hands-on experience / ability to roll your sleeves up and get involved in the transactional side of finance
• Available to start by the beginning of June at the latest
• Happy to be on-site between Canterbury and Dover 5 days per week
