Job Description - Interim Financial Controller / Systems Accountant

Exciting 24 month interim contract in two phases to undertake maternity project as FC and then support the implementation of a new accounting system. 
Your initial responsibilities will be as FC.

The Financial Controller works closely with the Finance Director and the Management Team and is responsible with FD for:
  1. MI: the provision of timely, accurate and relevant management information.
  2. Financial Control: ensuring that robust financial controls operate.
  3. Compliance: financial compliance with laws and regulations.
  4. FP&A: financial planning and analysis
  5. Treasury: there is control and transparency in treasury operations.
  6. Risk Management
  7. People
In addition, the FC oversees the day-to-day running of the accounts office, acting as line manager to the members of the finance team.
