Interim Financial Reporting Accountant | London/Hybrid | £350-£400pd Inside IR35 | 3-6 months

Are you a qualified accountant with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for driving financial performance? We're looking for an enthusiastic and commercially aware Financial Reporting Accountant to join a growing Technology client of ours.

This is a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial and management reporting, including leading on profit and loss analysis and taking ownership of a major financial services project. What you’ll be doing:

• Own and manage end-to-end financial processes for a portfolio of partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
• Be the go-to finance contact for both internal stakeholders and external partners
• Lead profit and loss reporting and deep-dive analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Drive month-end activities including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support the year-end audit process and contribute to the preparation of statutory accounts
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and continuously look for ways to improve systems and reporting processes
• Keep finance procedures current and aligned with company policies
• Take part in ad hoc finance projects and provide wider team support as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Recently qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, ideally with a background in audit
• Solid experience in both financial and management accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and confident handling complex data
• A self-starter who thrives under pressure and consistently meets deadlines
• Detail-oriented, with a drive for accuracy and continuous improvement
• Strong communicator with the ability to build trust across teams and stakeholders
