Job Description - Interim FP&A Manager

The Interim FP&A Manager will provide strategic financial planning and analysis support to a not-for-profit organisation based in the Cardiff area. This temporary role requires a professional with strong accounting and finance skills to support decision-making processes.

Are you a Qualified Accountant with senior FP&A experience?

I'm recruiting an Interim FP&A Manager for a Not for Profit organisation based near Cardiff.

Reporting to the Head of FP+A, this will be an initial 6 month interim role,

Duties include;

  • Developing and producing the Year end reporting pack and analysis against budget
  • Planning and coordination of Revised Budget
  • Leading the FP&A team consisting of 1 FP&A Partner
  • Providing insight and analysis as required by Executive
  • (Activity based reporting)
  • Monthly reporting pack and analysis against budget

Profile

A successful Interim FP&A Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within a large complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders clearly.
  • A proactive approach to supporting organisational financial goals.

Job Offer

  • Competitive daily rate of to circa £400 -£450 PER DAY.
  • Temporary contract FOR 6 MONTHS
  • Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office

  • Holiday entitlement in line with the temporary contract terms.
