The Client

Harmonic is delighted to partner exclusively with one of the UK's fastest growing retail businesses in their search for an Interim FP&A Manager for a period of 6 -12 months, with the potential to be extended or made permanent.

The business is expanding rapidly in the UK and internationally which has opened up opportunities for a transaction in the near future. Based in the heart of Kings Cross, they boast a non-corporate and relaxed culture, but which is underpinned by excellence.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO and with a dotted line to the founder, they require an experienced FP&A Manager/Head of FP&A who can lead on the day to day running of the FP&A function as well as support on the assembly of the data room in preparation for the business to go to market in the near future. This is essential for them to ensure a smooth due diligence process and maximizing the company valuation.

Responsibilities:

• Support the CFO & Founder in the preparation for a sale.
• Lead the FP&A function.
• Develop complex multi-currency Financial Models.
• Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Assemble the data room.
• Working closely with stakeholders to manage the full end-to-end due diligence process.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and leveraging AI.

Essential Skills

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Track record in commercial finance or FP&A roles.
• Experience within retail, e-commerce, or wholesale which has a stock/inventory element.
• Experience with complex financial modelling involving multi-entities, multi-currencies, and transfer pricing.

Bonus Skills

• Experience on sell-side M&A or,
• Background in Transaction Services/M&A/Corporate Finance or,
• Finance Director or FP&A specialist who has recently done a deal.
• Transfer pricing experience.

Day Rate: £450-£600/day (Outside IR35)

Location: London (Onsite)

Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

Contract Length: 6-12 Months
