Job Description - Interim Group Accountant

Axon Moore are supporting a reputable business based in South Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Group Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Finance teams to deliver group accounts as well as supporting on process improvements and streamlining systems.

The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

  • Delivery of Group monthly / annual accounts in a timely manner
  • Set up group policies
  • Process improvements
  • Support across year end and liaising with external auditors.
  • Evaluating and managing risk
  • Reviewing internal controls

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

  • Qualified Accountnat (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
  • Strong technical accounting experience, ideally within a Group or Head Office function
  • Up to date technical accounting knowledge

This is a 6 month role and requires an immediate start.
It offers hybrid working
