Interim Group Accountant Advertising Company London £350 - £400/day 6-9 Month Contract

Communicate has partnered with a Leading Advertising Company to hire an Interim Group Accountant on an initial 6 - 9 month contract. This role will play a critical part in supporting the companythrough a period of change and continued expansion, offering the chance to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, creative environment.

With operations across the UK and internationally, the company has built a strong reputation for innovation and high-impact campaigns. You'll be joining a collaborative finance team at a pivotal time providing essential support in delivering accurate consolidated accounts as well as supporting wider strategic initiatives as they look to expand their finance function.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for monthly group consolidations across multiple entities.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and UK GAAP.

• Support the year-end process, liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders.

• Assist with the development and refinement of reporting processes as the business grows and evolves.

• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting activities as required.

• Operate as a key contact within the finance function, working closely with senior finance leadership and commercial teams.

Your Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience in group accounting roles.

• Proven track record of managing consolidations and statutory reporting in complex, multi-entity environments.

• Able to hit the ground running — confident working independently in a fast-paced business.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.

• Experience in the media, advertising, or creative industries is desirable but not essential.

• Strong systems skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments.

Compensation

• £350 - £400 per day (outside IR35, depending on experience)

• Hybrid working model (London HQ with flexibility)

• Immediate start preferred, or able to start within the next 2 weeks
