Interim Group Finance Manager

HW Finance are currently working exclusively with a large business in North Yorkshire to recruit for a newly created role on an interim basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a high-impact position, working directly with the board to challenge and advise on finance, drive forward-thinking projects, and improve historic processes. You’ll have a clean slate to build analytical tools, streamline reporting, and support strategic decision-making.

Starting within the next two weeks, the successful candidate will take the lead on finance for Group Functions across multiple countries. This includes full ownership of performance management for central functions and oversight of large-scale capex programmes.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Performance & Planning – Drive cost discipline and performance across Group Functions
• Projects & Capex – Lead financial oversight of major projects and coordinate capex reviews
• Technical Accounting – Act as the technical lead on accounting matters related to projects and functions
• Controls – Strengthen end-to-end controls for both opex and capex
• Stakeholder Engagement – Partner directly with the board, acting as their sole finance business partner
