Reporting to the Director of Resources, The Interim Head of Finance will lead the delivery of high-quality financial, procurement, and facilities services. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, ensuring compliance, value for money, and continuous improvement across all areas.

• Lead and develop finance, procurement, and estates strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Provide expert advice to senior management on budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and best practice standards.
• Oversee financial reporting, procurement processes, and facilities management.
• Drive innovation through digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
• Manage and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business development, and governance.

Profile

A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:

• A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Proven experience in financial management within a not-for-profit setting.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire a finance team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.
