Job Description - Interim HR Business Partner

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to step into a HR Business Partner role within a public sector organisation that is driving real impact across the region. You'll work on a hybrid basis (3 days in Sheffield, 2 from home) in a forward-thinking HR team, supporting senior leaders across people strategy, performance, change, and development.

Description

The HR Business Partner will be:

* Supporting a range of business areas by providing expert advice across the full employee lifecycle.

* Working with leaders to implement people plans, manage performance, and lead on employee engagement and development initiatives.

* Advising on employee relations issues, ensuring fair, timely, and policy-compliant outcomes.

* Leading or contributing to projects across organisational change, workforce planning, and process improvement.

* Playing an active role in policy development and implementation of HR best practice.

Profile

The HR Business Partner should be:

* Experienced in HR within the public sector-this is essential.

* A current HR Advisor or Junior HRBP looking to take the next step in a supportive, strategic role.

* Confident working with managers and stakeholders to influence and implement people solutions.

* Knowledgeable in UK employment law, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with hybrid flexibility.

Job Offer

* £41,000 - £45,000 salary (12-month fixed-term contract)

* Hybrid working: 3 days in Sheffield, 2 days from home
