Interim Lead Corporate Accountant

A dynamic and highly acquisitive listed business is seeking an experienced Lead Corporate Reporting professional to support its statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, and financial disclosure obligations during a key period of growth and change.

This is a high-impact role in a complex, fast-paced environment, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of a listed group’s corporate reporting function.

• Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory financial statements and interim reporting for the listed group and its subsidiaries

• Ensure full compliance with IFRS and relevant UK listing requirements (e.g., FCA, FRC, and DTR rules)

• Manage group consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to internal and external stakeholders

• Coordinate and manage the external audit process, acting as the key point of contact for audit queries and documentation

• Oversee compliance with corporate governance reporting obligations, including viability and going concern assessments

• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings, including annual reports, interim results, and ad hoc market disclosures

• Support reporting for recent acquisitions and ensure appropriate integration into the group reporting framework

• Develop and maintain internal controls and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance

• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and internal controls

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally trained in a Big 4 or top-tier practice

• Extensive technical accounting and IFRS knowledge with experience in listed or regulated environments

• Proven background in corporate reporting, group finance, or regulatory compliance

• Strong understanding of UK Corporate Governance Code, DTR, and FRC reporting requirements

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
