The Hays Senior Finance team is exclusively recruiting for a confidential interim opportunity with a dynamic and growing business group. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Interim Management Accountant to provide essential support during a critical ERP implementation phase. This hands-on role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial results across two UK-based entities, while also supporting cross-border finance processes with two parent companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and complete all month-end processes within five working days
• Prepare detailed commercial reports for internal stakeholders, customers, and parent companies
• Deliver weekly internal sales performance reports
• Submit monthly VAT returns and rebate statements
• Maintain the fixed asset register and support currency revaluation
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and journal input
• Provide analysis of product margins, transport costs, stock valuations, and labour costs
• Review KPIs relating to product volumes and production costs

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
• Strong understanding of month-end procedures and reporting requirements
• Confident using accounting software and Excel for reporting and analysis
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, FP&A, Finance)
• Ideally available to start in July or shortly after.
