Interim Management Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in transactional finance who's ready to take the next step into a more involved management accounting role. You'll support through month-end processes and production of monthly management accounts, while supporting the wider finance team.

• Support the month-end process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations

• Help prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders

• Assist with cashflow forecasting, budget monitoring and VAT returns

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure costs and income are correctly recognised

• Work closely with the finance team to support sales and purchase ledger functions

• Provide financial insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders

• Contribute to process improvements and support year-end audit preparation

• AAT qualified or currently studying AAT, with the ambition to progress

• OR part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) and actively working towards full qualification

• Hands-on experience in a finance environment - preferably with some exposure to management accounts

• Good working knowledge of accounting software and strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines

• Confident communicator, comfortable working across teams and functions

• A proactive mindset and a willingness to develop within a values-driven organisation

• Previous experience in healthcare or a people-focused service sector would be advantageous
