Interim Management Accountant

I am currently supporting the Finance department of a large logistics business based outside of Leeds. This role will be supporting the Financial Controller on an interim basis, minimum of 6 months, whilst they are going through an exciting time of change.

This role will be supporting the Finance department through the busy day to day and month end by posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations and so strong experience in these areas are required. This role will be primarily working alongside Excel and so it is essential for that candidate to be familiar with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.

Skills required

• To be a qualified accountant or studying towards the relevant qualifications (ACCA, CIMA) qualified by experience will also be considered.
• Have strong excel skills as working on excel is a key part of the role, so someone who is familiar with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables will be key.
• To be experienced completing month-end responsibilities, it is important that you have completed tasks such as Accruals, Prepayments and Balance Sheet reconciliations in your career so far
• Be immediately available, or on a short notice period and be able to start quite quickly!
