Salary: £40,000–£45,000
Location: Doncaster (Hybrid)
Duration: Initial 3-month assignment

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a reputable organisation based in Doncaster to recruit a Interim Management Accountant to support the business during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to step into a hands-on, commercially focused role with immediate impact.

The Role:

Reporting into the senior finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for key month-end activities, management reporting, and business partnering with both operational and commercial teams. This hybrid role offers a great balance of autonomy and collaboration across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business partnering with Account Managers and Contract Delivery Managers to support delivery of financial targets

• Manage the month-end close process, including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Supporting and developing financial understanding across Sales and Production Management teams

• Conducting financial analysis to support decision-making on profitability and cost control

• Assisting in the delivery of the Mid Term Planning (MTP) process

• Preparing month-end reports, commentaries, and reporting packs

• Supporting continuous improvement of flow profitability reporting and analysis

• Identifying adverse variances and making actionable recommendations to management

About You:

• Fully qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QBE)

• Proven experience in a management accounting or commercial finance role

• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders

• Confident with financial reporting and analysis

• Available to start immediately or at short notice
