?? Interim Management Accountant (3+ Months)
Location: Carlisle, West Cumbria or Fully Remote (with occasional office attendance)

A forward-thinking healthcare organisation with a strong presence in Carlisle and West Cumbria is seeking an experienced
Interim Management Accountant to support their finance team during a critical period of growth and transformation.This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and technically strong Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.
?? Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and insightful commentary
• Quarter-end and year-end financial reporting
• Balance sheet and control account reconciliations
• Budget monitoring and variance analysis
• Cashflow forecasting and financial planning
• Ensuring compliance with payroll and pension regulations
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Supporting ad hoc financial projects and reporting as required

? About You:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a technically strong QBE
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the NHS or not-for-profit sector
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
