Interim Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner

A new opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing Finance team. This role plays a key part in supporting operational teams with insightful analysis, robust reporting and financial decision-making.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across operational teams, providing accurate monthly accounts, supporting planning cycles, and helping to drive performance through meaningful financial insight.

What you'll do

• Support financial planning, forecasting and budgeting across functions
• Produce accurate, timely management accounts and performance analysis
• Partner with stakeholders to provide clear insight and challenge around key cost and performance drivers
• Deliver meaningful reporting and commentary to support operational decision-making
• Lead and support ad hoc analysis, projects and process improvements
• Help maintain a strong control environment and drive consistency in reporting and processes

What you'll need

• Must be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Proven experience in a similar management accounting or finance business partnering role
• Confidence working with operational teams and presenting financial information clearly
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• High attention to detail and understanding of internal controls
• Strong Excel skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus
