Interim Mangement Accountant

Axon Moore are supporting a large and growing business based in West Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Management Accountant.

You will be a key member of the finance team and will have responsibility for robust accounting, recharging and reporting of payroll and fixed asset costs as well as supporting on financial reporting requirements.

The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

• Accounting for and reporting of group costs
• Maintaining a rebate register
• Reconciliation of costs and production of a summary for the management accounts
• Accruals and prepayments
• Financial analysis
• Monitoring and review of spend versus budget
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Completion of VAT returns
• Providing support on the period end close process

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

• Qualified Finance Leader, (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or by experience)
• Experienced management accountant
• Experience of working within a group function is desirable 
• Strong communication skills 

This is a 3 - 6 month assignment and will be for an immediate start. 
It is a Hybrid role with 3-4 days based in the office
