Interim Payroll Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Interim Payroll Supervisor for a not-for-profit organisation based in Sheffield. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles.

Description

• Supervising and managing all aspects of payroll within the organisation
• Maintaining and updating payroll records accurately
• Ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and guidelines
• Resolving payroll discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for accounting purposes
• Coordinating with the Accounting & Finance Department to ensure smooth operation
• Ensuring confidentiality and privacy of employee data
• Providing payroll information and guidance to staff and management

Profile

A successful Interim Payroll Supervisor should have:

• Proven experience in a similar Payroll Supervisor or Manager role
• Any experience in the public sector would be advantageous but not essential
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of payroll systems and procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency in using payroll software and related tools

Job Offer

• A competitive hourly rate of between £19 and £23 per hour
