Role: Interim Procurement Officer

Location: Liverpool

Rate: £300 - £350

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Interim Procurement Officer to join a Public Sector organisation in Liverpool on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will also have the option to work remotely up to 4 days p/w.

The Role:

• Lead on procurement projects to achieve cashable savings and added value opportunities
• Prepare tender documentation and manage full processes above threshold
• Support procurement strategy delivery within assigned category areas
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Carry out bench marking activities and market analysis
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Advise on procurement process and look to improve procedures where possible

The Person:

• Previous experience within the Public Sector
• PCR2015 / PA2023 knowledge
• Ability to work multiple projects at once
• MCIPS or working towards desirable
• Available at short notice
