Job Description - Interim Product Director - B2B SaaS

Interim Product Director / Head of Product (6-Month Contract)
Remote EU (regular travel to Austria)

We’re looking for an experienced interim Product Director / Head of Product to help accelerate a number of crucial initiatives for a well-established B2B SaaS company.

This is an approximately 6-month interim role, ideal for a hands-on product leader who can quickly get up to speed, deliver impact, and set the foundations while we hire for the permanent leadership position.

You’ll work closely with the CEO and CTO to drive forward key product priorities that will shape the company’s next stage of growth.

What you’ll do

Take ownership of a number of high-priority product initiatives and drive them from discovery to delivery.
Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and the leadership team to validate needs and turn them into actionable product solutions.
Spot and validate opportunities to apply data and AI through user insight, market research, and internal analysis.
Help establish the right product processes and ways of working to enable scale.
Provide mentoring and guidance to product managers, balancing delivery with development of the team.

What you’ll ideally bring

8+ years in modern product management, with strong experience in B2B SaaS or PaaS product companies.
A proven ability to deliver hands-on impact quickly, with the leadership skills to align teams and stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritise and execute with pace.
Excellent commercial acumen and a strong sense for balancing product value with business outcomes.
Fluency in German is a bonus (not essential); strong communication in English is required.
