Interim Qualified Management Accountant

Your new company
Hays are working with a large education charity who are looking for an interim qualified accountant for a management accounting position.

Your new role
You will be supporting the Director of Finance and you will be working on the month end, journals, accruals, pre-payments and supporting the production of the monthly management accounts.Monitoring the monthly performance against budgetFinancial analysis and commentarySupporting the Director of Finance with other tasks as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) ideally with either education, schools or charity experience, but other public sector experience will be considered too.The role is 3 days per week in the office with 2 days working from home. Wednesday is the day that the whole team are in the office. The other 2 days are flexible to choose.

What you'll get in return
There is a daily rate of £300.00 p/day Umbrella company. A 6-month contract is on offer. Hybrid working
